Apple and Huawei’s Smartphone, in the second quarter of 2018, surpassed the world’s second-largest smartphone vendor, behind Apple, with the number of smartphone sales. Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has occupied the space. Recently, Gartner, a US-based research organization, South Korean electronics giant Samsung still holds the top spot as usual
According to Techtimes Gartner’s report, the company has sold 4.98 million devices in the second quarter of this year. On the other hand, the second-place Apple sold 4 million 47 million smartphones in the quarter.
Anshul Gupta, director of Gartner’s research, said that the company has occupied Apple’s position with the latest and feature-rich smartphone design smartphone. He also said that Huawei has been able to maintain the quality as per the demand of smartphones in addition to affordable smartphones. This has boosted the company’s smartphone sales.
Note that Huawei’s P20 smartphone in the market was competing directly with Apple’s iPhone. Of course, Apple lost the competition. Meanwhile, Samsung continues to occupy the top position in worldwide smartphone sales. In the second quarter of this year, the company has sold a total of seven billion 23 million smartphones.
Now the point of view is whether Huawei can retain the same position in the third quarter of the year. Apple is presently coming to the market with the new three models of iPhones.
