Naeem Islam Jr. and Habibur Rahman joined the party as they shared two wickets conceding both 30 runs.

For Mohammedan Sri Lankan recruit Upal Tharanga led the chase from the front with an unbeaten knock of 77 off 105 balls and finished the play with Naeem Islam (25 n.o) to remain unbeaten till the end of the innings.
