On Friday, Al Arafah Islami Bank 4th Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad was held at Asia Pacific University in Dhaka, There prominent academicians, scientist, bankers, and guests at different stages express this openion . After agreeing with them, 403 students from different parts of the country have pledged their commitment to worldwide science and technology.

In the morning, the Olympiad started with the national anthem of Kishor Lalo Sangskritik Dal. Then the convenor of Junior Science Olympiad and Vice-President of Science Popularization Association, Munir Hasan expressed his condolences to the martyrs of his father and the family members in August 75. National Professor and University Vice-Chancellor Professor Jamilur Reza Chowdhury inaugurated the Olympiad. Students then take part in one and a half hour Junior Science Olympiad exams. In junior, secondary and special categories, students answer short details of physics, biology, and chemistry. Then the students came back to the main stage. Students learn the answers to their questions from teachers and scientists during the question hour period.

At the end of the closing phase, the winners of the 52 students presented the medals, present guests. 12 champions, 18 first runner-up, and 22 students were declared second runner-up. Students selected from these students will be selected step by step through camps. Bangladesh Olympiad team will be selected. The team will take part in the International Junior Science Olympiad in Botswana, Africa in December.

In the third week of July, the Bangladesh Scientific Publications Association and the Bangladesh Freedom Foundation organized eight regional episodes and an e-Olympiad. The winners of these Olympiad attend the national festival. Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited is sponsoring this whole event. The organizers of this event were the Prothom-alo and the IP.
