Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) joint secretary general Aslam Chowdhury was confined from Kuril Bishwa Road in the capital on Sunday.
Authorities at the police central command said a group from the Khilgaon police headquarters kept him at night.
Citing Aslam Chowdhury’s own secretary Nurul Kabir, BNP executive’s press wing part Sayrul Kabir Khan said Aslam has been kept from 300-Feet Road in Kuril.
Home priest Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told Prothom Alo on Sunday evening that there were harm arguments against Aslam Chowdhury.
Prior in the day, the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) forced a restriction on Aslam’s traveling to another country.
